Next Feral Child off the blocks in this busy final year for the label, sees a monster of a double a side from long term label favourites, Studio Kosmische. Two superb covers of the classic Cluster tune “Caramel” from the legendary 1974 LP “Zuckerzeit”. Recorded in January, both versions (entitled “Crème Caramel” and “Salted Caramel”) are absolute beauties.

For a little background, over to SK mainman Dom Keen: SK is an experimental electronic project, rooted deeply, as the name suggests, in the ethos of German 1970s kosmische music. Blending drones, psychedelic instrumentation and sound design into immersive, otherworldly deep listening—this is music intended to encourage and accompany an altered state. Primarily the solo project of British musician and producer Dom Keen, it also reflects collaborations with key contributors. Keen is also known for his work with The Hologram People and as a touring musician with Quantic and Death in Vegas. A close collaborator is Jonathan Parkes, founder of Dreamlord Recordings. Drawing on a background in sonic experimentation, Studio Kosmische channels the ethos of 1970s cosmic music—expansive synth textures, open structures, and a disregard for conventional song form. Through Keen’s vision and ongoing collaborations, the project has carved out a niche within modern kosmische and psychedelic music, immersive journeys that blur the boundaries between inner and outer space.

Tracklist:

1. Crème Caramel
2. Salted Caramel
