Description
The Deftones’ third studio album, ‘White Pony’, represented a quantum leap for the Nu-Metal genre. Incredible depth of care was put into this record production, matching the quality of songwriting that shifted the band firmly into the realms of critical adoration. Obvious reference points would be the darker end of The Cure’s catalogue or rock masterpieces like Tool’s ‘Undertow’ and Soundgarden’s ‘Superunknown’.
